INJURIES

Jermaine Burton - Out of sync Thursday Burton caught one of five targets for 11 yards in a Week 10 loss to the Ravens on Thursday Night Football. He also returned a kickoff for 17 yards.
Impact With Tee Higgins (quad) out a third straight week and Charlie Jones (groin) missing a second consecutive contest, Burton was given a chance to play after he was a healthy scratch in Week 9 against the Raiders. The rookie wideout couldn't get much going, however, as he was able to reel in just one of the five passes thrown his way. Burton's lone reception was at least an impactful one, as his third-down, 11-yard catch with less than a minute remaining in the first half put the Bengals on Baltimore's three-yard line and was immediately followed by a Joe Burrow touchdown pass to Tanner Hudson. Still, Burton was mostly unimpressive in the defeat, and he could have a hard time getting on the field in Week 11 against the Chargers if Higgins is able to return to action.

Andrei Iosivas - Nabs pair of catches Thursday Iosivas recorded two catches on four targets for 29 yards Thursday in a Week 10 loss to the Ravens.
Impact Iosivas logged the second-most catches and yards among Cincinnati wideouts in the contest, though his production was nearly unnoticeable compared to Ja'Marr Chase's huge 11-catch, 264-yard, three-touchdown performance. It's also worth noting that two tight ends (Tanner Hudson and Mike Gesicki) registered more targets, catches and yards than Iosivas, as did running back Chase Brown. Iosivas has served as the Bengals' No. 2 wideout over the past three weeks while Tee Higgins has been sidelined due to a quad injury, but Iosivas hasn't done much with the opportunity, totaling just three catches for 39 yards and a touchdown over the three-game span.

Khalil Herbert - Sees just two snaps in team debut Herbert didn't record a carry or a target in Thursday's Week 10 loss to Baltimore.
Impact Herbert joined Cincinnati in a trade between the Bengals and Bears on Tuesday, and he was able to suit up just two days later. However, Herbert didn't make the best first impression, as he couldn't grasp the ball on a handoff from QB Joe Burrow in the second quarter. The fumble was questionably charged to Burrow, and Herbert was credited with the recovery after he fell on top of the ball, but that was essentially the extent of Herbert's involvement in the contest (he logged just one other snap). The fourth-year running back has a chance to grow into a significantly larger role once he gets more accustomed to the Bengals' playbook, especially with Zack Moss (neck) landing on injured reserve Tuesday, but Chase Brown figures to remain heavily involved after tallying 94 total yards from scrimmage and scoring a touchdown in Thursday's loss.
6 DAYS AGO • ROTOWIRE
Drew Sample - No targets in Week 10 Sample did not see any targets in Thursday's loss to the Ravens.
Impact Sample had his best game of the season with four catches and a touchdown in Week 9 against Las Vegas, but he was back to being a non-factor Thursday. Meanwhile, Bengals No. 1 tight end Mike Gesicki caught four passes on nine targets for 30 yards against Baltimore and Tanner Hudson notched six catches on seven targets for 42 yards and a touchdown. Sample did finish second among the team's tight ends with 46 offensive snaps, but with zero receptions in seven of his 10 contests this season, he can't be counted on for offensive production on a weekly basis.
6 DAYS AGO • ROTOWIRE
Evan McPherson - Doesn't attempt any FGs in Week 10 McPherson converted all four of his extra-point tries and did not attempt a field goal in Thursday's loss to Baltimore.
Impact McPherson came through when called upon, but all of his kicks were PATs. The Bengals opted to try for a two-point conversion on their final touchdown with less than 40 seconds remaining in the contest, costing McPherson a fifth point-after attempt and resulting in a loss when the team was unable to convert. McPherson has made more than one field goal just once over his past six contests.
6 DAYS AGO • ROTOWIRE
Isaiah Williams - Coming to Cincinnati The Bengals claimed Williams off waivers Friday.
Impact Williams, an undrafted rookie from Illinois, appeared in two games with the Lions before being waived Thursday, catching two of his three targets for six yards across just eight offensive snaps. He'll likely serve as a depth piece in Cincinnati's wide receiver room as the season progresses.

Bengals fritter away another big lead in a second frustrating loss to Ravens

Another tight game, another loss for the Cincinnati Bengals
NOVEMBER 8 • ASSOCIATED PRESS
Tanner Hudson - Busy night in narrow loss Hudson brought in six of seven targets for 42 yards and a touchdown in the Bengals' 35-34 loss to the Ravens on Thursday night.
Impact The towering tight end finished third in receptions and receiving yards on the Bengals for the night, and he had two more catches than position mate Mike Gesicki on two fewer targets. Hudson had just recorded his first two catches since Week 1 in Sunday's win over the Raiders, so Thursday's numbers were season highs across the board and included his first touchdown of the campaign on a three-yard grab late in the first half. It's still difficult to trust Hudson's week-to-week involvement considering Gesicki's presence, however, leaving the former with an uncertain fantasy outlook for a Week 11 road matchup against the Chargers on Sunday night, Nov. 17.
NOVEMBER 8 • ROTOWIRE
Mike Gesicki - Modest output in loss Gesicki brought in four of nine targets for 30 yards in the Bengals' 35-34 loss to the Ravens on Thursday night.
Impact Gesicki was third on the team in targets with a figure that also tied his season high, but unlike other games when Tee Higgins (quadricep) has been sidelined, Gesicki couldn't do much with the opportunity. The veteran tight end's yardage total was his fifth of 30 yards or less this season, and assuming Higgins is back to full health for a Week 11 road matchup against the Chargers on Sunday night, Nov. 17, Gesicki could be revert to a much smaller role.
NOVEMBER 8 • ROTOWIRE
Chase Brown - Logs 22 touches in loss Brown rushed 13 times for 42 yards and a touchdown and secured nine of 11 targets for 52 yards in the Bengals' 35-34 loss to the Ravens on Thursday night. He also lost a fumble.
Impact Brown once again filled the lead-back role and was the only Bengals running back to record a rush attempt, but he was nearly as involved as a receiver due to game script. The second-year back finished second in receptions, receiving yards and targets behind Ja'Marr Chase, and he was able to post his fifth rushing touchdown of the season on a one-yard run to cap off the opening possession of the game. Brown will eventually begin sharing touches with the recently acquired Khalil Herbert, but he should continue spearheading the ground attack in a Week 11 road battle against the Chargers on Sunday night, Nov. 17.
NOVEMBER 8 • ROTOWIRE
Ja'Marr Chase - Elite performance in loss Chase secured 11 of 17 targets for 264 yards and three touchdowns in the Bengals' 35-34 loss to the Ravens on Thursday night.
Impact Chase fell just short of eclipsing his own 266-yard franchise record set back during his 2021 rookie campaign during a season-best performance. The star wideout had already burned the Ravens for a 10-193-2 tally in Week 5, but Chase was on a different level Thursday while scoring from 67, 70 and five yards out in the second half. Chase's final scoring grab came with just 38 seconds remaining and left Cincinnati just a point shy of tying the game at 35-35, but head coach Zac Taylor opted to go for a two-point conversion the Bengals failed to convert. Chase now has a whopping 32 receptions for 416 yards and five touchdowns over his last four games heading into a Week 11 road matchup against the Chargers on Sunday night, Nov. 17.

Joe Burrow - Stellar numbers in loss Burrow completed 34 of 56 passes for 428 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions in the Bengals' 35-34 loss to the Ravens on Thursday night. He also rushed twice for six ya...
Impact On the heels of a five-touchdown day against the Raiders in Week 9, Burrow nearly matched his stellar output Thursday while also recording a new season high in passing yards. The 2020 first overall pick connected with Tanner Hudson (three yards) and Ja'Marr Chase (67, 70 and five yards) for his quartet of scoring tosses, with the third to Chase leaving the Bengals just a point shy of tying the Ravens at 35-35 with only 38 seconds remaining. Head coach Zac Taylor opted to forgo a game-tying PAT and instead go for two points, but Burrow couldn't connect with Hudson on a play where Mike Gesicki also appeared to have potentially been impeded on his route. Cincinnati fell to 4-6 with the narrow defeat, but Burrow has been one of the most prolific quarterbacks for fantasy purposes due in large part to his team's shoddy defense, a pattern that could persist in a Week 11 visit to the Chargers on Sunday night, Nov. 17.
