Impact Legas looks set to start Thursday as he is warming up with the first team offense. He struggled in his last outing versus UAB, but his five-touchdown performance the week prior appears to be enough to give him the starting job over Kirk Francis for at least another game.

Disappointing in second start Legas was 21-for-38 passing for 230 yards, two touchdowns and one interception during Saturday's 59-21 defeat to UAB. He also had 14 rushes for negative four yards.

Impact Fresh off making his first start and tossing five touchdowns last week versus UTSA, Legas returned to earth Saturday. He and the Golden Hurricane got blown out and Legas did not play near as well as he did in his first start. He still threw for 230 yards and two touchdowns, but he threw an interception and only completed 55 percent of his passes. He will likely keep his starting job for the next game versus East Carolina on Nov. 14.

Five touchdowns in big comeback Legas completed 16 of 31 passes for 333 yards and five touchdowns during Saturday's 46-45 victory against Texas-San Antonio. He also had 13 rushes for 46 yards and lost one fumble.

Impact Legas did not start Saturday's game but he replaced Kirk Francis in the second quarter after Francis struggled and the Golden Hurricane fell down 20-0. Legas led his team to a touchdown on his first drive, capped off by a 31-yard touchdown pass to Bill Jackson, but then lost a fumble that was returned for a touchdown later in the quarter and he and his team went into halftime down 35-7. Legas was spectacular in the second half though as he led four straight touchdown drives -- three of which culminated in passing touchdowns to Kamdyn Benjamin -- and he threw the game-winning score to Benjamin with a minute left in the game. It was an electric performance from him and one that seems likely to earn him the starting job this Saturday at UAB.

Impact Legas started Saturday's contest but was replaced after just two drives. He and the offense turned the ball over on downs on the opening possession, then went three-and-out on the next drive. He was replaced by Kirk Francis who played the remainder of the game. Legas did not play particularly bad in his limited snaps, so the move to Francis -- who struggled Saturday -- was a bit confusing. The Golden Hurricane's situation at quarterback is very much in flux, so it's best to avoid both Francis and Legas.

Impact Legas did not start Saturday's game versus Army, but he split snaps with Kirk Francis. Even though he only threw for 20 yards, he out-played Francis thanks to 81 yards and a touchdown on the ground, the only Hurricane touchdown of the game. With a bye week in Week 7, the Golden Hurricane could make a quarterback change ahead of the Week 8 matchup at Temple.

Impact Legas led a drive in the fourth quarter Saturday after Kirk Francis was benched for poor performance and backup Cardell Williams got a chance to lead to drives. Legas completed two of his three pass attempts, including a 27-yard completion to Anthony Watkins and an 18-yard touchdown pass to Jack Wright. If Francis is benched before or after Saturday's difficult matchup with Army, Williams would be the favorite to start but Legas would certainly have a shot at the job.
