Greg Dulcich - Inactive Week 9 Dulcich (coach's decision) is listed as inactive for Sunday's matchup with the Ravens, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.

Impact With Adam Trautman and Lucas Krull healthy, the Broncos will again opt to go with two tight ends on their 53-man roster. As a result, Dulcich will be a healthy scratch for the fifth-straight game. He last played in Week 4 versus the Jets.

Zach Wilson - Emergency QB again Wilson (coach's decision) will serve as Denver's emergency third quarterback for Sunday's game in Baltimore, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.

Impact Wilson has regularly been serving as the Broncos' emergency quarterback, while Jarrett Stidham backs up Bo Nix under center on the active roster. The former first-round pick has not seen the field this season for Denver.

He was released by Denver on Friday, but he's opted to stick around on the practice squad and he'll be available for Sunday's contest.

Impact Turner-Yell had his 21-day practice window opened Wednesday, a limited session and then two full practices to end the week. The safety will remain on the reserve/PUP list for the time being, but considering his level of participation this week, he appears to be on the cusp of making his 2024 debut. Turner-Yell has missed the entirety of the season to his point while recovering from a torn ACL.

P.J. Locke - Ruled out for Week 9 Locke (thumb) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup with the Ravens, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.

Impact Locke was spotted with a splint on his left thumb Wednesday and he will now be forced to miss his first contest of the year after failing to practice during the week. In Locke's absence, JL Skinner will likely draw the start at strong safety against Baltimore.

P.J. Locke - Has left thumb in splint Locke was seen with a splint on his left thumb Wednesday and he did not participate in practice, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports.

Impact Locke may have picked up the injury during the Broncos' Week 7 win over the Saints. He ended last week with back-to-back DNPs, which forced him to sit during Denver's Week 8 win over Carolina. Unless he's able to shed the splint and increase his practice participation over the next two days, it appears Locke will be unable to play Sunday against Baltimore. In Locke's absence in Week 8, Ja'Quan McMillan was listed on the Broncos' starting defense and finished with three tackles (two solo) and one interception.

Alex Palczewski - Past ankle issue Palczewski (ankle) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Ryan McFadden of The Denver Post reports.

Impact The second-year offensive lineman from Illinois had missed the Broncos' last three contests due to a high-ankle sprain sustained in Week 5's win over the Raiders. However, Wednesday's full practice suggests he's now moved past the issue. Expect Palczewski to reclaim Denver's top right tackle duties in Week 9, when the Broncos travel to Baltimore.

Delarrin Turner-Yell - Designated to return from PUP The Broncos opened the 21-day practice window for Turner-Yell (knee) to return from the reserve/PUP list Wednesday.

Impact Turner-Yell opened the regular season on the reserve/PUP list while in the final stages of his recovery from injuries to his ACL, MCL and meniscus in his left knee. He was a limited practice participant during Wednesday's session, though he'll likely have to increase his participation over the next two days to be activated off the PUP list ahead of Sunday's game against the Ravens. Across 16 regular-season outings in 2023, Turner-Yell logged 34 tackles (26 solo) and one pass breakup while splitting his snaps between defense and special teams.

Ja'Quan McMillian - Records interception in win McMillian finished with three tackles (two solo), a pass defensed and an interception in Sunday's 28-14 win over the Panthers.

Impact The slot cornerback also played on 77 percent of the defensive snaps. McMillian has 37 tackles (29 solo), including 1.0 sacks, three passes defensed, an interception and a forced fumble in 2024. He has played in all eight games and on at least 57 percent of the defensive snaps in each contest.

Pat Surtain II - Intercepts pass in win Surtain recorded a tackle for a loss, a pass defensed and an interception in Sunday's 28-14 win over the Panthers.

Impact The cornerback suffered a concussion during Denver's Week 6 loss to the Chargers and missed the team's Week 7 win over the Saints, but he cleared the concussion protocol in time for this game. Surtain has played on at least 80 percent of the defensive snaps in all of the games he's been fully available to play in this season. The fourth-year pro has 15 tackles (nine solo), six pass breakups and three interceptions in 2024.

Jonathon Cooper - Disruptive in win Cooper recorded five tackles (four solo), including 1.0 sacks and two tackles for losses, in Sunday's 28-14 win over the Panthers.

Impact The starting outside linebacker also played on more than half of the defensive snaps. Cooper has 31 tackles (17 solo), including 5.5 sacks, and a forced fumble in eight games this season.

Brandon Jones - Makes 12 tackles in win Jones led the Broncos with 12 tackles (seven solo) in Sunday's 28-14 win over the Panthers.

Impact The safety brought his season total to 61 tackles (39 solo). Jones also has three passes defensed, an interception, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. The fifth-year pro who signed a three-year, $20-million contract with the Broncos in March has played on more than 80 percent of the defensive snaps in seven of eight games this season.
