The chronological resume format (also known as a reverse-chronological resume format) is the most common in Australia. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It showcases your most recent job first – and moves backward in time for every subsequent position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, it’s not suitable for everyone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you have significant employment gaps or less than 3 years of experience, consider using either the Functional or Hybrid formats<\/a> instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
