You still have a big, black, ugly spine dangling under the desk.<\/span><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The Pulse solves the issue once and for all by hiding the cable inside one of its legs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brilliant. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Only one other desk in Australia &#8211; the youth-oriented <a href=\"https:\/\/arielle.com.au\/secretlab-magnus-pro-standing-desk-review\/\">Secretlab Magnus Pro<\/a> has this feature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You also get Stando&#8217;s magnificent cable management channel, with its 8 external-facing power ports, as standard. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is indispensable for people who regularly need quick access to their desk&#8217;s power plugs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"indent-wrapper\"><div class=\"indented-text\"><span>Click-together assembly is also a nice touch. <\/span><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/arielle.com.au\/best-standing-desk-australia\/\">I&#8217;ve been reviewing Australia&#8217;s best standing desks for almost 5 years<\/a>, so I&#8217;ve assembled dozens of these things. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And regardless of what manufacturers tell you, assembling a standing desk is never an effortless, pleasant experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But click-together legs remove one of the clunkiest steps of the process. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>(Related: <a href=\"https:\/\/arielle.com.au\/standing-desk-features-you-dont-need\/\">10 Standing Desk Accessories That Are A Waste Of Money<\/a>).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Personally, I wish Stando had leaned more fully into the &#8220;fast assembly&#8221; vibe by delivering the desktop preassembled and prewired (e.g., <a href=\"https:\/\/arielle.com.au\/9am-home-dora-pro-standing-desk-review\/\">like the 9am Home Dora Pro<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That said, this move would also jack up the desk&#8217;s shipping cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instead, Stando caters to people who are short on time (or patience) with the option to have the desk assembled by its delivery team on arrival. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"indent-wrapper\"><div class=\"indented-text\"><span>The fee &#8211; a somewhat eye-watering $200. <\/span><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Stando&#8217;s corporate clients will likely pay this without blinking, but something in the neighbourhood of $100 would be more appropriate for retail customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>(Related:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/arielle.com.au\/9am-home-atom-pro-standing-desk-review\/\">9am Home Atom Pro Full Review: Good, Bad &amp; Ugly<\/a>).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaking of fees, all the extra fruit you get on Stando Pulse costs roughly $300. Then stuffing it all back in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"indent-wrapper\"><div class=\"indented-text\"><span>What should take 1 second takes 15 minutes.<\/span><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Or you have the opposite problem &#8211; you need to add a peripheral. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But your cable management tray is full. You have no physical space left. And even if you did, you have no power sockets available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You won&#8217;t experience either of these issues with the Stando Pulse. Yes, but it&#8217;s a minor one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As I wrote in <a href=\"https:\/\/arielle.com.au\/updown-klik-standing-desk-review\/\">my review of the UpDown KLIK<\/a>, attaching the legs is one of the many time-consuming steps involved in assembling a standing desk. The others are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"arrow-wrapper\"><div class=\"arrow-list\"><ul><li><strong>Unboxing<\/strong> and understanding all the parts (10 minutes).<\/li><li><strong>Wiring<\/strong> up the cables (15 minutes).<\/li><li><strong>Attaching<\/strong> the controllers and tray (15 minutes).<\/li><li><strong>Disposing<\/strong> of the cardboard and foam (10 minutes).<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Do you care that your assembly time is now 50 minutes instead of 60?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:60px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4.
