Here\u2019s an example of what to say:<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"indent-wrapper\"><div class=\"indented-text\"><span>\u201cThanks for making time to meet with me. I\u2019ve decided to leave the company to pursue another opportunity. I want you to know I\u2019ve appreciated the opportunity to learn about this industry and be a part of the team.\u201d<\/span><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"arrow-wrapper\"><div class=\"arrow-list\"><ul><li><strong>Have<\/strong> your reasons ready for when you\u2019re asked why you\u2019re leaving. But leaving a positive impression could lead to advantageous network linkages in future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"indent-wrapper\"><div class=\"indented-text\"><span>Your resignation letter goes on record, so make it professional. <a href=\"https:\/\/arielle.com.au\/resignation-letter-template\/\">Focus on the facts and keep the tone positive<\/a>.<\/span><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Aside from the basics like the date, your boss\u2019 full name and job title, your letter must include the following things:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"arrow-wrapper\"><div class=\"arrow-list\"><ul><li><strong>Your<\/strong> intention to resign.<\/li><li><strong>Your<\/strong> last day.<\/li><li><strong>The<\/strong> transition plan.<\/li><li><strong>A <\/strong>thank you.<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, don\u2019t forget to sign it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you feel the need, you can also include any positive impressions of your time with the company &#8211; whether it relates to working with your team or the company culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"indent-wrapper\"><div class=\"indented-text\"><span><em>It is also a good idea to thank your manager personally for the opportunity.
