Build Quality Of The Frame.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The sturdiness of <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow noindex\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"StandDesk\" href=\"https:\/\/arielle.com.au\/recommends\/standdesk\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">Stand Desk<\/a>&#8216;s frame is up there with the best &#8211; in the same league as other premium contenders (i.e, Desky, UpDown, Secretlab and Omnidesk).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"indent-wrapper\"><div class=\"indented-text\"><span>You get plenty of solid steel in the frame and a tight build to prevent desktop wobbles.<\/span><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Elevate it to the highest point, and you see some movement &#8211; but I&#8217;m yet to find a desk that doesn\u2019t do it. You also won&#8217;t care about minor differences in desk speed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"indent-wrapper\"><div class=\"indented-text\"><span>Stand Desk&#8217;s frame is solid enough to withstand years of abuse. That&#8217;s all that matters.<\/span><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. Desktop Aesthetics.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Stand Desk offers you two desktop choices:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"arrow-wrapper\"><div class=\"arrow-list\"><ul><li><strong>Bamboo<\/strong>.<\/li><li><strong>Birch<\/strong> Plywood.<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>I took a punt on the latter because it looks different from every other standing desk. And I was genuinely astounded at how great it was. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:10px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"588\" src=\"https:\/\/arielle.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/stand-desk-assembly-1024x588.jpg\" alt=\"stand desk assembly\" class=\"wp-image-86839\" srcset=\"https:\/\/arielle.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/stand-desk-assembly-1024x588.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/arielle.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/stand-desk-assembly-300x172.jpg 300w, https:\/\/arielle.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/stand-desk-assembly-768x441.jpg 768w, https:\/\/arielle.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/stand-desk-assembly.jpg 1300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019d go as far as to say it\u2019s the best tutorial out there \u2013 and I\u2019ve lost count of the standing desks I\u2019ve assembled using nothing but black-and-white Ikea-style sketches as a reference. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ability to see the <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow noindex\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"StandDesk\" href=\"https:\/\/arielle.com.au\/recommends\/standdesk\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">Stand Desk Pro<\/a> being assembled, pause, and rewind takes so much stress out of the process that you can (dare I say it?) enjoy assembling it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"indent-wrapper\"><div class=\"indented-text\"><span>There\u2019s no need to BYO screwdrivers, either.<\/span><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Stand Desk includes everything you need &#8211; even an Allen key with a Philips head on one side, while most standing desk manufacturers fail to provide one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"indent-wrapper\"><div class=\"indented-text\"><span>I know this seems pedantic, but students, apartment dwellers, white-collar professionals, single mums, and older people don&#8217;t always have toolboxes lying around.<\/span><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a class=\"thirstylink\" rel=\"nofollow noindex\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"StandDesk\" href=\"https:\/\/arielle.com.au\/recommends\/standdesk\/\" data-shortcode=\"true\">Stand Desk Pro<\/a> is much quicker to assemble than most desks, thanks to a clever latching system for attaching the legs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"arrow-wrapper\"><div class=\"arrow-list\"><ul><li><strong>This reduces <\/strong>the number of screws you need to fiddle with.<\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>As for the desktop, the pre-screwed bolts were also a nice touch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You won&#8217;t sweat while you put holes into your desktop, and there\u2019s no risk of damaging and splitting the wood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"indent-wrapper\"><div class=\"indented-text\"><span>Unfortunately, the instructions became less clear when demonstrating how to attach the cables and the control box. I figured it out eventually, but had to plug and unplug things a few times until I got it right.<\/span><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:41px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>5. Cable Management Systems.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The cable management system starts with a complimentary cable tray. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wide and hinged from both sides for easy access, it has cutouts for integrating externally-facing quick-access power boards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"628\" src=\"https:\/\/arielle.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/stand-desk-cable-management-1024x628.jpg\" alt=\"stand desk cable management\" class=\"wp-image-86855\" srcset=\"https:\/\/arielle.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/stand-desk-cable-management-1024x628.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/arielle.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/stand-desk-cable-management-300x184.jpg 300w, https:\/\/arielle.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/stand-desk-cable-management-768x471.jpg 768w, https:\/\/arielle.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/stand-desk-cable-management.jpg 1300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Strangely, Stand Desk doesn\u2019t sell such power boards. Instead, you&#8217;ll have to buy an extension lead, drop it into the tray and plug your electronics into that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"indent-wrapper\"><div class=\"indented-text\"><span>A pre-drilled hole in the back of the desktop lets you feed the power cables through to the cable tray. <\/span><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>A grommet would have made it look neater &#8211; and prevented my stationery from vanishing into the abyss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oh, and if you\u2019re a cable neat freak like me, you\u2019ll appreciate this &#8230; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"indent-wrapper\"><div class=\"indented-text\"><span>Stand Desk&#8217;s desktop has pre-cut grooves on the bottom for tucking away power, remote control and wireless charger cables. <\/span><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>With the Stand Desk Pro, you\u2019ll have the tidiest, cleanest cable situation ever.
