noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.morningstar.com.au\/insights\/stocks\/232647\/5-overvalued-stocks-to-avoid-today\">agree with some analysts<\/a> that Fortescue Metals Group (ASX: FMG) is currently overpriced, and you predict a price correction in line with a drop in iron ore prices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can open a three-month short position, borrow 100 shares at its current price of around $31 per share, and sell them for $3100.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"arrow-wrapper\"><div class=\"arrow-list\"><ul><li><strong>If you\u2019re right<\/strong> and the price drops to trade at $25 a share within three months, you can re-purchase the shares for $2500 and return them \u2014 making a profit of $600.<\/li><li><strong>If you bet wrong <\/strong>and the market price of shares increases to $37 per
