Impact Steele logged only 13 offensive snaps in the contest, still trailing Kareem Hunt (44) by a sizable margin and sitting three behind Samaje Perine as well. The rookie back has carried the ball a combined seven times over the last three weeks. With Isiah Pacheco's (lower leg) return from injured reserve on the horizon, there's little to like about Steele's fantasy prospects moving forward.

Samaje Perine - Posts pair of grabs versus Broncos Perine didn't tally a carry but reeled in both of his targets for 37 yards during Sunday's 16-14 victory over the Broncos.

Impact While Perine saw limited action (16 snaps) on offense, he made a notable play, scampering for 35 yards on one of his two receptions in a drive that ended up with a field goal. Even so, he's hardly producing enough weekly to warrant a look in fantasy leagues, especially with Isiah Pacheco on the cusp of a return to the playing field. Once Pacheco returns, Perine would presumably drop to third on the depth chart behind Pacheco and Kareem Hunt, further diminishing his fantasy value.

Isiah Pacheco - May resume practicing soon Coach Andy Reid said Monday that Pacheco (fibula) is closing in on a return to practice, Charles Goldman of AtoZSports.com reports.

Impact Speaking about Pacheco, WR JuJu Smith-Schuster (hamstring) and DE Charles Omenihu (knee), Reid said, "They're all close. JuJu closer than the other two. I'd tell you, we might have them out there." The Chiefs must designate Pacheco for return from injured reserve in order for him to practice for the first time since fracturing his right fibula back on Sept. 15. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the team is eyeing a return for Pacheco in late November, so getting on the practice field this week would mean his 21-day window extends through the end of the month. In the meantime, though, Kareem Hunt will continue to dominate touches out of Kansas City's backfield.

Impact Smith-Schuster has missed three consecutive games due to the hamstring injury that he suffered Sunday, Oct. 20 at San Francisco. Considering an IR stint would have required at least four games out of commission, perhaps Reid and the Chiefs anticipate Smith-Schuster returning to action Sunday in Buffalo, but ultimately getting back on the field this week will be the first step in that endeavor.
