Nine crosses in UCL win Tsimikas registered one shot (zero on goal), nine crosses (two accurate) and five corners in Wednesday's 1-0 victory versus RB Leipzig.
Impact Tsimikas attempted a total of nine crosses as Liverpool won in Leipzig 1-0. Tsimikas has started three games in three league and Champions League games this season, keeping a clean sheet in two of these matches and bringing his total to 19 crosses in these three games.
OCTOBER 23 • ROTOWIRE
Dealing with issue Tsimikas is dealing with a minor issue, according to manager Arne Slot. "Kostas [Tsimikas] missed out in the first game against England"
Impact Tsimikas missed one international match and played just eight minutes in the second. It's not clear what sort of issue he's dealing with but the left-back could be a minor doubt against Chelsea. Andrew Robertson will be the starter barring a major surprise Sunday.
OCTOBER 18 • ROTOWIRE
Five crosses in first EPL start Tsimikas generated one shot (zero on goal), five crosses (zero accurate) and four corners in Saturday's 1-0 win against Crystal Palace.
Impact Tsimikas made his first Premier League start of the season and attempted five crosses (zero accurate) including taking four corners. He also completed 66 of his 72 passes, one of which was a through ball that sent Cody Gakpo through to assist the match's only goal.
OCTOBER 5 • ROTOWIRE
Assist in first start of season Tsimikas assisted once to go with four shots (zero on goal), four crosses (two accurate) and three corners in Tuesday's 3-1 win over AC Milan.
Impact Tsimikas made his first start of the season and had a productive display, delivering a corner to Virgil van Dijk, who could find the back of the net. He also took four shots; only Mohamed Salah took more.
SEPTEMBER 17 • ROTOWIRE
Returns earlier than expected Tsimikas (collarbone) is in the squad to face Burnley on Saturday.
Impact Tsimikas returns earlier than expected after missing the past five matches after undergoing surgery. The fullback had seen fairly regular playing time prior to the injury, but with Andrew Robertson now fit, Tsimikas is likely to return to a backup role.
FEBRUARY 10 • ROTOWIRE
Won't train for another two weeks Tsimikas is not expected to train for another two weeks after having Collarbone surgery, according to assistant manager Pepijn Lijnders. "Kostas is now four weeks after surgery, so...
Impact Tsimikas still seems to be some ways out from a return, as he will not be returning to training with the first team for another two weeks. He is only four weeks out from his surgery, so this should come as no surprise, with the team having to wait for his bone to heal after his fall into manager Jurgen Klopp during their draw with Arsenal on Dec. 23. He will hope to have trained by the end of the first week in February, and to possibly return for their match against Burnley on Feb. 10.
JANUARY 23 • ROTOWIRE
Expected to train in January Tsimikas (collarbone) is expected back on the training pitch in January. Assistant manager Pepijn Lijnders told reporters Tuesday, "Same for Kostas. Kostas is progressing really we...
Impact Depending on when Tsimikas gets back on the training pitch, it's possible he could be an option against Chelsea on Jan. 31. With Trent Alexander-Arnold (knee) facing multiple weeks on the sideline, the return of Tsimikas would provide a significant boost to Liverpool's defensive options.
JANUARY 9 • ROTOWIRE
Running individually Tsimikas (collarbone) was running individually in training Friday.
Impact Tsimikas and Andrew Robertson (shoulder) are both working their way back from serious left shoulder injuries. This has prompted the loan recall of Owen Beck, who is a Cup option while the two recover. Tsimikas should return around the same time as Robertson meaning Tsimikas will likely return to the bench behind Robertson.

Liverpool defender Tsimikas injured after colliding with Klopp in game against Arsenal

Liverpool defender Kostas Tsimikas broke his collarbone when he collided with Jurgen Klopp on the sideline during the English Premier League game against Arsenal at Anfield
DECEMBER 23, 2023 • ASSOCIATED PRESS
Broken collarbone confirmed Tsimikas (collarbone) has been confirmed to have a broken collarbone after an ugly collision on the sidelines against Arsenal, according to manager Jurgen Klopp, per Theo Squires o...
Impact Tsimikas will be facing an extended period on the sidelines, having been confirmed to have broken his collarbone in Saturday's match against Arsenal. This is a very unfortunate loss for Liverpool, now being without their first two options at left-back, with Andy Robertson also out due to a shoulder injury. Tsimikas should now be expected to miss the next six to eight weeks of play due to the injury. Luckily, the international break is about to take place, giving him almost three additional weeks to recover without a contest. He will be slotted for a return versus Arsenal on Feb. 4, the same club he encountered his injury against. The defender will hope for a speedy recovery, with Joe Gomez most likely holding down the left flank in defense while Robertson and Tsimikas recover from their injury woes.
DECEMBER 23, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Early exit against Arsenal Tsimikas was taken off in the 35th minute of Saturday's contest against Arsenal, having gone down with an apparent shoulder injury.
Impact Tsimikas is the newest Liverpool left-back to end up on the injury list, having exited Saturday's match early with an injured shoulder after colliding with manager Jurgen Klopp on the sidelines. This will now leave Liverpool very limited in the flanks of the defense, already having Andrew Robertson out due to a shoulder problem as well. Joe Gomez replaced the hurt Tsimikas and will most likely remain in the starting XI if his fellow teammate's injury is serious, as the club now has no true outside backs and will be forced to play some players outside their regular positions.
DECEMBER 23, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Assists in win Tsimikas assisted once to go with six crosses (one accurate) and one corner in Sunday's 4-3 victory against Fulham.
Impact Tsimikas isn't Andrew Robertson, but he's certainly not a bad backup on the stat sheet. The left-back found an assist and peppered the Fulham box with a plethora of dangerous crosses. He might be the backup and rotational option but Tsimikas has shown exactly why his contract was extended as he fills in for Robertson somewhat seamlessly.
DECEMBER 4, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Assists twice Tsimikas assisted twice to go with one shot (zero on goal), 10 crosses (three accurate) and three corners in Sunday's 3-0 win over Brentford.
Impact Tsimikas has not looked good while Andrew Robertson (shoulder) has been out but at the end of the day he fills the scoresheet with ease. The defender earned a pair of assists and showed some impressive attacking form. Robertson is still some ways away from fitness so Tsimikas has plenty of minutes ahead of him in December.
NOVEMBER 13, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Big volume in start Tsimikas recorded eight crosses (two accurate) and three corners in Saturday's 2-0 win versus Everton.
Impact Tsimikas got the start with Andrew Robertson (shoulder) sidelined and made the most of it. Tsimikas certainly isn't as a complete of a player as Robertson but he is an impressive attacking full-back who should have sky-high upside during the multiple months Robertson is expected to be on the sideline.
OCTOBER 23, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Signs contract extension Tsimikas has signed a contract extension with Liverpool, the club announced Monday.
Impact Since signing for Liverpool, Tsimikas has made 63 appearances and provided 12 assists. He remains the backup of Andrew Robertson, so his fantasy upside is almost non-existent unless the Scotland international suffers an injury. Still, the club rates him high enough to keep him around for the foreseeable future.
SEPTEMBER 25, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Remains as backup option Tsimikas ends the season totaling 13 starts in 26 appearances in all competitions, generating six assists on 129 crosses (33 accurate).
Impact Despite just a backup role, Tsimikas was able to produce when he got the chance to play, averaging about 5.8 crosses per match with a career high of assists. Andrew Robertson seems to continue to be the favorite to start and will continue to heading into the 2023/24 campaign.
JUNE 14, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Five crosses in start Tsimikas had five crosses (zero accurate) and one corner in Wednesday's 1-0 victory against Fulham.
Impact Tsimikas got the start after five matches as an unused substitute. Andrew Robertson is still the starter and nearly impossible to displace but Tsimikas once again showed how good he is when on the pitch. The left-back will remain a fringe option as he spends the majority of his time on the bench.

Available versus Manchester City Tsimikas (ribs) is a substitute option for Saturday's clash with Liverpool.
Impact Tsimikas picked up a small issue during his time with Greece, but it's not severe enough to sideline him, and he'll be able to deputize Andrew Robertson as usual.
APRIL 1, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Injured on international duty Tsimikas was forced out of Monday's friendly with Greece because of a rib issue, reports Giannis Chorianopolous of Sportime.gr.
Impact Tsimikas has started just once for Liverpool since the first week in January and now he's injured over the break, which won't help playing time in the next month. Without Champions League in the schedule, there won't be many opportunities for Tsimikas to steal minutes from Andrew Robertson, as most of his playing time this season came with the latter was injured.
MARCH 28, 2023 • ROTOWIRE
Assists for clean sheet Tsimikas assisted once to go with five crosses (one accurate) and three corners in Wednesday's 2-0 victory versus Wolverhampton.
Impact Tsimikas frankly looked shaky on the defensive side of the ball throughout the first half, but he was a completely different player after half time. In the end, his efforts paced the squad in total crosses and corners, and his 77th minute assist helped seal the victory for Liverpool.
