Week 9 vs. Las Vegas Raiders | Locker Room Celebration

Brock Bowers - Scores late receiving TD Bowers secured five of eight targets for 45 yards and a touchdown in the Raiders' 41-24 loss to the Bengals on Sunday.
Impact Bowers had a quiet day for the most part despite the favorable matchup against a Bengals defense that had struggled against tight ends. However, he salvaged his fantasy day late with a 22-yard touchdown grab from Desmond Ridder with 41 seconds remaining, which served as only the second receiving score of his career. Bowers will continue serving as one of the primary targets for either Gardner Minshew or Ridder in a Week 11 road matchup against the Dolphins on Sunday, Nov. 17 following a Week 10 bye.

Impact Bowers had a quiet day for the most part despite the favorable matchup against a Bengals defense that had struggled against tight ends. However, he salvaged his fantasy day late with a 22-yard touchdown grab from the arm of Desmond Ridder with 41 seconds remaining, which served as only his second receiving score of his career. Bowers will continue serving as one of the primary targets for either Gardner Minshew or Ridder in a Week 11 road matchup against the Dolphins on Sunday, Nov. 17 following a Week 10 bye.

Jakobi Meyers - Eclipses century mark in loss Meyers secured eight of 11 targets for 105 yards in the Raiders' 41-24 loss to the Bengals on Sunday.
Impact The veteran wideout was the leader across the board for the Raiders' pass catchers despite middling quarterback play from both Gardner Minshew and Desmond Ridder. Meyers' reception, yardage and target totals were also all season-high figures, and he now has at least six receptions in four of the last five games. It remains to be seen what quarterback Meyers will work with in a Week 11 road matchup against the Dolphins on Sunday, Nov. 17 coming out of a Week 10 bye, but the sixth-year pro should remain the clear-cut leader of the wideout corps under any circumstance.

Alexander Mattison - Nine carries in loss Mattison rushed nine times for 36 yards in the Raiders' 41-24 loss to the Bengals on Sunday.
Impact Mattison once again led the Raiders' backfield in carries, outpacing Zamir White, who did score a rushing touchdown, by three attempts overall. Neither back was targeted in the passing game, and the non-fantasy-friendly pecking order is likely to persist through a Week 10 bye and into a Week 11 road matchup against the Dolphins on Sunday, Nov. 17.
NOVEMBER 3 • ROTOWIRE
Desmond Ridder - Throws TD in mop-up duty Ridder took over for an ineffective Gardner Minshew with 5:02 remaining in the third quarter of Sunday's 41-24 loss to the Bengals and completed 11 of 16 passes for 74 yards with a...
Impact A rusty Ridder, who'd last put up a regular-season attempt in Week 18 of the 2023 campaign with the Falcons, mostly stuck to short passes and took four sacks overall. However, Ridder also managed to lead a six-play, 70-yard touchdown march late in the fourth quarter that he capped with a 22-yard touchdown strike to Brock Bowers. Considering the Raiders are now 2-7 and have a Week 10 bye on tap, head coach Antonio Pierce may opt to give Ridder a chance to take over the starting job during a Week 11 road trip to Miami.

Gardner Minshew II - Benched for ineffectiveness Minshew completed 10 of 17 passes for 124 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions and rushed once for no gain before being replaced by Desmond Ridder with 5:02 remaining in the...
Impact Minshew's numbers underscore why he ultimately was replaced by Ridder, as the veteran signal-caller made little impact throughout his time in the game. Minshew failed to throw a touchdown for the third time overall this season, and he finished with under 200 yards for the fourth time as well. Ridder was able to lead one touchdown drive late, so it remains to be seen if a quarterback switch is in the offing during the Week 10 bye ahead of a Week 11 road matchup against the Dolphins.

Kolton Miller - Spotted with boot Miller (ankle) was spotted with a boot on his right foot in the locker room after Sunday's 41-24 loss to the Bengals, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
Impact Miller was forced to exit Sunday's contest early with a right foot/ankle injury and he could be sidelined moving forward as a result of the injury. With Las Vegas idle in Week 10, the offensive tackle will have an extra week to get right before the team travels to face the Dolphins on Nov. 17.

Cody Whitehair - Injures ankle Whitehair exited Sunday's game against the Bengals due to an ankle injury.
Impact Whitehair was unable to return after suffering the injury. Las Vegas is now entering a bye week, so he will have an extra week to recover before Week 11.

Kolton Miller - Will not return Miller (ankle) will not return to Sunday's game versus the Bengals, Jay Morrison of SI.com reports.
Impact Miller walked off the field with his own power, and he was subsequently replaced with Andrus Peat at left tackle.
NOVEMBER 3 • ROTOWIRE
Harrison Bryant - Leaves with ankle injury Bryant exited Sunday's contest against the Bengals with an ankle injury and is questionable to return.
Impact Prior to leaving, Bryant caught both of his targets in the pass game for 22 yards. Justin Shorter is next up on the depth chart at tight end behind Brock Bowers.
NOVEMBER 3 • ROTOWIRE
Nate Hobbs - Will not return Hobbs (ankle) will not return to Sunday's game versus the Bengals.
Impact No surprise here, as Hobbs was carted to the locker room. In his absence, Decamerion Richardson and Darnay Holmes are candidates to fill in at slot cornerback.
NOVEMBER 3 • ROTOWIRE
Andrus Peat - Injures ankle Sunday Peat exited Sunday's game against the Bengals with an ankle injury and is questionable to return, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Peat was in the game at left tackle in place of an injured Kolton Miller, who left earlier in the contest with an ankle injury of his own. The Raiders are down to Thayer Munford and Delmar Glaze as their remaining tackles.
NOVEMBER 3 • ROTOWIRE
Nate Hobbs - Carted off with ankle injury Hobbs exited Sunday's game against the Bengals with an ankle injury and is questionable to return.
Impact Hobbs was carted to the locker room with the injury. The Raiders will move forward with Jack Jones, Jakorian Bennett, Darnay Holmes and Decamerion Richardson available at cornerback while Hobbs is sidelined.

Impact Miller was able to walk off the field under his own power but was replaced at left tackle by veteran Andrus Peat.
NOVEMBER 3 • ROTOWIRE
Dylan Parham - Active against Cincinnati Parham (foot) is active for Sunday's game against the Bengals.
Impact Parham was listed as questionable but will be back in at right guard after missing the previous two weeks.
NOVEMBER 3 • ROTOWIRE
Robert Spillane - Will play through injury Week 9 Spillane (knee) is active for Sunday's battle against the Bengals.
Impact Spillane was not able to practice at all this week due to a knee issue, but he'll tough it out and suit up against Cincinnati. He's missed only one defensive snap so far this season, but it remains to be seen if the linebacker will be able to log his usual workload given the injury. Spillane has been very productive with double-digit tackles in six of his eight games so far this season.
NOVEMBER 3 • ROTOWIRE
Zamir White - Cleared to play Week 9 White (quadricep) is active for Sunday's game against the Bengals.
Impact White missed consecutive games in Weeks 5 and 6 due to a groin issue, but he had logged limited snaps in both of the past two contests behind lead back Alexander Mattison. Though he was nursing a new injury during Week 9 prep and had been listed as questionable heading into Sunday, White cleared up most of the concern about his health by turning in a full practice Friday. While Mattison is once again in line to serve as the Raiders' starting running back Sunday, head coach Antonio Pierce expressed a desire earlier in the week to get White more involved in the game plan. Even if White benefits from an uptick in snaps and touches in Week 9, however, he won't make for a dependable lineup option. White had previously worked ahead of Mattison in Weeks 1 through 4, but he didn't score any touchdowns and averaged just 3.1 yards per carry on 49 totes while catching just five passes during that stretch.
