INJURIES

Zamir White - May get more carries soon Coach Antonio Pierce suggested Wednesday that he wants to give White more opportunities even though Alexander Mattison will remain the starting running back, Levi Edwards of the Ra...
Impact Mattison has averaged just 2.7 YPC in his four-game stint as the starter, which includes two games White missed with a groin injury. White hasn't been any better this year, averaging 3.0 YPC, and he's taken just 13 snaps and six touches in two games since returning from the groin injury. It remains to be seen if he'll have a larger role this Sunday at Cincinnati.

Alexander Mattison - May share more work with White Coach Antonio Pierce said Wednesday that Mattison will remain the starting RB, but Pierce also wants to get Zamir White more involved, Levi Edwards of the Raiders' official site re...
Impact Mattison started the last four games and took at least 57 percent of snaps and 17 touches in each contest, averaging 16.5 carries for 44.5 yards (2.7 YPC) and 3.8 catches for 28.8 yards (7.2 YPT) while scoring one touchdown. The volume has made him a reasonable fantasy starter, at least in PPR leagues, but his struggles on the ground seemingly open the door for White to take on a significant role again -- and possibly as soon as this Sunday at Cincinnati.
OCTOBER 30 • ROTOWIRE
Divine Deablo - Logs seven tackles vs. Chiefs Deablo registered seven tackles (four solo) during Sunday's 27-20 loss to Kansas City.
Impact Deablo was the Raiders' third-leading tackler Sunday behind Robert Spillane (12) and Tre'von Moehrig (nine). In his three outings since returning from an oblique injury, Deablo has logged 17 tackles (10 solo), including 1.0 sacks.

QB Stock Market Week 9: Jalen Hurts looks like old self. Anthony Richardson looks young
Robert Spillane - Records team-high 12 tackles Spillane racked up 12 tackles (six solo) in Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Chiefs.
Impact Spillane recorded double-digit tackles for the first time since Week 5 on Sunday, and his 12 takedowns were enough to pace the Raiders defense. Through the first eight weeks of the season, Spillane leads the team by a wide margin with 79 total tackles.
OCTOBER 29 • ROTOWIRE
Tre'von Moehrig - Intercepts Mahomes in loss Moehrig recorded nine tackles (five solo) and an interception in Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Chiefs.
Impact Moehrig picked off Patrick Mahomes on a deflected throw for the safety's second interception of the season, and he also surpassed the 50-tackle mark through the Raiders' first eight games. A pass-friendly Bengals offense that features Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase awaits for Moehrig and this Las Vegas defense in Week 9.
OCTOBER 29 • ROTOWIRE
Daniel Carlson - Boots 54-yard FG in loss Carlson converted both of his field-goal attempts and tacked on a pair of extra points in Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Chiefs.
Impact Carlson booted a 54-yard field goal to give the Raiders a 10-7 lead early in the second quarter, and he added a 32-yard make in the second half. He's accrued 23 total points over Las Vegas' last two games, but Carlson will be kicking without a roof for the first time since Week 5 when the Raiders head outdoors to Cincinnati in Week 9.
OCTOBER 29 • ROTOWIRE
DJ Turner - First career receiving TD in loss Turner caught all four of his targets for 28 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Chiefs. He also rushed once for four yards and returned a punt for 17 yards.
Impact Turner's offensive snap share dipped to 53 percent upon Jakobi Meyers' return to the lineup from a two-game absence, but Turner still out-produced fellow wideout Tre Tucker, who finished the contest with a 2-26-0 receiving line. Turner has caught eight total passes for 78 yards and a score over the Raiders' past three games, and they're expected to trail again in Week 9 against the Bengals.
OCTOBER 29 • ROTOWIRE
Tre Tucker - Two receptions in loss to Chiefs Tucker caught two of three targets for 26 yards and he rushed once for seven yards in Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Chiefs.
Impact Tucker led his position group with a 91 percent offensive snap share, but fellow wide receivers Jakobi Meyers and DJ Turner provided much more fantasy utility as they combined for 10 receptions on 11 targets for 80 yards and two touchdowns. Tucker figures to remain busy from a playing-time perspective against the Bengals in Week 9, but the second-year wideout hasn't caught more than three passes in a game since Week 4.
OCTOBER 29 • ROTOWIRE
Zamir White - Logs two offensive snaps in loss White lost one yard on two carries in Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Chiefs.
Impact White's second rush of the contest went for a loss of three yards early in the second quarter, and he didn't see the field again offensively for the remainder of the game. It's evident that fellow running back Alexander Mattison has overtaken the lead role in the Raiders backfield, though he also struggled to get much going on the ground with 14 carries for 15 yards, but Mattison did add five catches on as many targets for 29 yards. A game script that involved Las Vegas trailing for the entirety of the second half meant more snaps for Ameer Abdullah than White as well, which could play out similarly on the road against the Bengals in Week 9.

Harrison Bryant - Reverts to practice squad Shorter reverted to Las Vegas' practice squad Monday.
Impact Shorter saw playing time on both offense and special teams with Harrison Bryant (elbow) out but failed to record any stats. The 24-year-old could be elevated again Week 9 versus the Bengals if Bryant remains sidelined.

2024 NFL Week 8 betting recap: 'We had our best day in weeks'
Jakobi Meyers - Top target in return Meyers recorded six receptions on seven targets for 52 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Chiefs.
Impact Meyers returned from a two-game absence and immediately led the Raiders in targets and receptions. He was heavily involved on the opening drive, converting a key first down with an 11-yard catch before finding the end zone from seven yards away. Meyers then tallied his longest catch of the day for 17 yards early in the second quarter, setting up a Las Vegas field goal. While his final stat line was modest, Meyers should dominate targets along with Brock Bowers moving forward.

Alexander Mattison - Horrific efficiency against KC Mattison rushed the ball 14 times for 15 yards in Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Chiefs. He added five receptions on five targets for 29 yards.
Impact Mattison was the only Raider to record more than two carries, but he didn't do anything to earn the continued opportunity. His longest rush went for just five yards, and four of his 14 carries went for zero or negative yards. Mattison did manage to salvage his day as a receiver, as he tied for second on the team with five targets. Zamir White saw only two carries and totaled -1 yards, though it wouldn't be surprising to see the Raiders mix up their running back usage in Week 9 against the Bengals.

Brock Bowers - Modest Week 8 line Bowers recorded five receptions on five targets for 58 yards in Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Chiefs.
Impact Bowers made the most of his opportunity in Sunday's loss, as three of his five catches went for double-digit yards. However, he saw his lowest target total since Week 4, as Gardner Minshew distributed targets fairly evenly among the Raiders' skill-position players. Lack of volume isn't likely to be a concern often moving forward, as Minshew has looked to Bowers increasingly as the season has progressed.

Gardner Minshew II - Looks good against Chiefs Minshew completed 24 of 30 passes for 209 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions in Sunday's 27-20 loss to the Chiefs. He added two rushes for six yards.
Impact Minshew returned to a starting role with Aidan O'Connell (hand) sidelined and managed to average 7.0 yards per attempt for the first time since Week 1. He didn't push the ball down the field aggressively, instead distributing the ball to short areas of the field while allowing his skill-position players to rack up yards after the catch. Minshew managed to play mostly mistake free, though he did lose a costly fumble that ultimately led to the game-winning score for the Chiefs. Overall, it was a decent performance for Minshew, and he showed some rapport with Jakobi Meyers.
