Impact The defensive lineman also played on more than 60 percent of the defensive snaps for the eighth time in his eight games this season. Ekuale already has a career-high 30 tackles (15 solo), including 1.0 sacks, in 2024.

Jahlani Tavai - Big game in defeat Tavai recorded 11 tackles (six solo), including a tackle for a loss, a pass breakup and an interception in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Titans.
Impact The inside linebacker also played on more than 80 percent of the defensive snaps for the eighth time in nine games this season. Tavai has 59 tackles (30 solo), two passes defensed and an interception on the year.

Christian Barmore - Progressing towards return Coach Jerod Mayo said Monday that Barmore (illness) was getting "close" to returning to practice, Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald reports.
Impact Barmore has been on New England's non-football injury list for the entire season up to this point dealing with blood clots, but it seems there's a growing chance he'll be able to play at some point in 2024. If the Patriots saw fit to activate him during the week, his next chance to suit up would come Sunday at Chicago.

Ja'Lynn Polk - Limited snaps in return Polk logged nine of a possible 69 snaps on offense in Sunday's 20-17 overtime loss to the Titans, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Polk, who was inactive Week 8 due to a concussion, returned to the mix Sunday, but saw limited playing time and didn't catch his only target in the contest. For now, he's behind DeMario Douglas, Kayshon Boutte and Kendrick Bourne in the Patriots' wideout pecking order, and until that changes Polk won't be a reliable fantasy lineup option.

As long as the 2023 sixth-rounder sees steady playing time with Drake Maye at QB for the team, he'll have a chance to make a mark, but for now he's not a high-percentage fantasy option ahead of this weekend's game against the Bears.

With Rhamondre Stevenson maintaining a secure grip on his role as New England's top back and Antonio Gibson also in the team's backfield mix, Hasty remains off the fantasy radar.

Antonio Gibson - Limited role Sunday Gibson was on the field for eight of a possible 69 snaps on offense in Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Titans, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
Impact Gibson finished the contest with one carry for minus-one yard and caught his only target in the contest for 12 yards. While working behind Rhamondre Stevenson (51 snaps, 10 carries versus Tennessee), Gibson carries limited fantasy upside ahead of this weekend's game at Chicago.

Joey Slye - Misses valuable opportunity Sunday Slye made one of his two field-goal tries and converted both of his two extra-point attempts during Sunday's 20-17 overtime loss at Tennessee.
Impact Both of Slye's field-goal tries in Week 9 came from longer than 50 yards out, a tough ask for any kicker. But after such a close loss, the Patriots will probably look back on the 56-yarder he missed in the first quarter as a squandered opportunity. New England's struggling offense will get another stiff test in Week 10 at Chicago.

Kendrick Bourne - Gets more involved Bourne recorded four receptions on six targets for 41 yards in Sunday's 20-17 overtime loss to the Titans.
Impact Bourne has slowly seen his snap count tick up since returning from a knee injury in Week 5, though his involvement in the offense took its first true leap Sunday. He recorded season-best marks in targets, receptions and yards, while also matching his longest gain of the season with a 14-yard catch late in the second quarter. Bourne missed out on an even bigger day when a 22-yard catch was wiped out by a holding call, but his performances are trending in the right direction.

DeMario Douglas - Seven catches in loss Douglas recorded seven catches on nine targets for 35 yards in Sunday's 20-17 overtime loss to the Titans.
Impact Douglas led the Patriots with nine targets and tied for the team lead with seven receptions. Drake Maye didn't push the ball down the field much, limiting Douglas' yardage potential, though he still managed his first catch of at least 20 yards since Week 6 and just his fourth such reception of the campaign. While his final line was unremarkable, Douglas' ability to command targets was notable after seeing only six combined across his two prior games.

Impact Henry remained a favorite target of Drake Maye and has at least five receptions in each of Maye's three starts. Henry remained primarily a short-area option, though four of his catches went for at least 10 yards. While Henry won't match the explosiveness of elite fantasy tight ends, he has a key role in the New England offense and should remain a reliable contributor moving forward.
