INJURIES

Graham Gano - Returns to limited practice Gano (hamstring) Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site in practice Wednesday.
Impact Gano missed the past seven games with a hamstring strain and is just now having his 21-day window opened. Replacement kicker Greg Joseph (abdominal) was placed on IR lsat week, leaving practice-squadder Jude McAtamney as the last option if Gano isn't ready for Sunday's game against the Panthers in Munich.

Theo Johnson - Tending to pair of injuries Johnson was limited at Wednesday's practice due to knee and back injuries, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Impact The rookie fourth-round pick has been rounding into form over the last five games, tallying at least 30 receiving yards on four occasions on his way to a cumulative 14-164-1 line on 18 targets during that span. With a pair of health concerns now in tow, though, his status will be watched as the week goes on to get a sense of his odds to suit up Sunday at Carolina.

Bryce Ford-Wheaton - Won't practice Wednesday Ford-Wheaton (Achilles) did not participate at practice Wednesday, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.
Impact Ford-Wheaton tried to play through his Achilles issue in Week 8 but was unable to finish the game, and then he sat out entirely in Week 9. Now his status for Week 10 is in jeopardy, and he'll likely need to practice to some extent Thursday or Friday to have any chance to play Sunday.
NOVEMBER 6 • ROTOWIRE
Darius Slayton - Not practicing Wednesday Giants head coach said that Slayton (concussion) won't practice Wednesday, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.
Impact Slayton's absence from practice suggests he hasn't made much progress yet in his recovery from the concussion he sustained during this past Sunday's 27-22 loss to the Commanders. Daboll noted that the receiver may not make the trip to Munich in advance of Sunday's game against the Panthers, but further clarity on Slayton's status for Week 10 should arrive when the Giants' traveling party leaves for Germany on Thursday night.
NOVEMBER 6 • ROTOWIRE
Graham Gano - Set to practice Wednesday The Giants designated Gano (hamstring) for return from injured reserve Wednesday, Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record reports.
Impact Gano has been cleared to resume practicing with the Giants for the first time since Week 2 after missing the team's last seven games with a right hamstring strain. Jude McAtamney was elevated from the practice squad ahead of last week's loss to Washington to handle kicking duties, but with no other kicker on the 53-man roster at the moment, the expectation is that Gano will be ready to play this Sunday against the Panthers in Munich if he experiences no setbacks in practice.

Brian Burns - Logs four tackles Burns recorded four tackles (one solo) and a pass deflection during the Giants' loss to Washington on Sunday.
Impact Burns had a solid outing despite the loss and has now logged at least four tackles in four straight games. The 2019 first-round pick will look to keep producing during the team's Week 10 matchup versus the Panthers.

Jude McAtamney - Heads back to practice squad McAtamney reverted to the Giants' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Impact With two Giants place kickers on injured reserve, McAtamney got the call Sunday against the Commanders, connecting on his only field-goal attempt from 31 yards and his sole point-after try. Greg Joseph (abdomen) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, but Graham Gano (hamstring) is a candidate to return to action at any point. If Gano is designated for return this week, McAtamney's time as the team's kicker may be contained to one game. Until that happens, though, McAtamney could get another chance this coming Sunday at Carolina.

Dexter Lawrence II - Posts six stops in Sunday's loss Lawrence recorded six tackles (one solo) in a Week 9 loss to Washington.
Impact Though Lawrence wasn't able to build on his total of 9.0 sacks (which ranks second in the league and is already a career high), he did manage to tally a season-high tackle total. The nose tackle continues to anchor New York's defense and dominate opposing offensive lines. Lawrence is up to 34 tackles (20 solo) on the season.
NOVEMBER 4 • ROTOWIRE
Bobby Okereke - Records nine stops in Week 9 Okereke notched nine tackles (five solo), including one for a loss, in a defeat against the Commanders on Sunday.
Impact Okereke finished second on New York in tackles behind Micah McFadden, who racked up 14. Okereke has 23 stops over the past two weeks after averaging a modest (by his standards) 5.9 tackles through his first seven contests. The veteran linebacker has 64 total stops through nine games as he seeks to reach 130 tackles for the fourth consecutive campaign.
NOVEMBER 4 • ROTOWIRE
Micah McFadden - Totals 11 stops Week 9 McFadden recorded 11 tackles (six solo) in Sunday's loss to Washington.
Impact McFadden led New York in stops and posted his second double-digit tackle tally of the campaign. The third-year linebacker logged 80 percent of the Giants' defensive snaps, his highest total since Week 2. McFadden has registered at least four tackles in all eight of his contests this season and has posted 58 tackles overall, including 2.0 sacks.
NOVEMBER 4 • ROTOWIRE
Theo Johnson - Scores first NFL touchdown Johnson caught three of six targets for 51 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's Week 9 loss to Washington.
Impact Johnson finished second on New York in both targets (six) and receiving yards (51), and each mark was a new career high. The rookie also notched his first NFL touchdown in the defeat, catching a 35-yard pass down the seam with under three minutes remaining in the game. Johnson's production has been on the upswing -- after tallying just three catches over his first four contests, he's recorded at least three catches in four of his subsequent five games. Johnson did fail to reel in multiple catchable passes Sunday, but he's showing enough promise to take a strong hold on the No. 1 tight end role for the 2-7 Giants.
NOVEMBER 4 • ROTOWIRE
Jalin Hyatt - Shut out in passing game again Hyatt did not receiving a target in Sunday's Week 9 loss to the Commanders.
Impact Hyatt functioned as New York's No. 4 wideout in the contest, but that resulted in just four offensive snaps -- well behind Malik Nabers (62 offensive snaps), Darius Slayton (60) and Wan'Dale Robinson (47). In fact, three Giants tight ends logged more snaps on offense than Hyatt (Theo Johnson with 55, Chris Manhertz with 16 and Daniel Bellinger with 14). Hyatt has just one catch on the campaign and has drawn one or zero targets in seven of the eight games in which he has played. However, he could see a considerable uptick in opportunity Week 10 against Carolina if Darius Slayton, who is currently in the NFL's five-step concussion protocol, is unable to suit up.
