INJURIES

L'Jarius Sneed - Out for Week 10 Tennessee ruled out Sneed (quadriceps) for Sunday's game against the Chargers, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Impact Sneed will miss his fourth straight game with the injury after he was initially injured in Week 6 versus Indianapolis. Darrell Baker, Jarvis Brownlee and Roger McCreary led the way in snaps at cornerback for the Titans last Sunday against New England.

Will Levis - Set to start Sunday Head Brian Callahan announced Friday that Levis (right shoulder) will start Sunday's game against the Chargers, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Impact Levis, who has missed three straight contests, returned to a full practice Thursday, paving the way for him to see his first game action since Week 6. As a result, Mason Rudolph -- who had started in place of Levis -- will revert to backup duties Sunday. In his return to the Titans' lineup, Levis offers a Week 10 option for those in deeper fantasy leagues or who are otherwise seeking help this weekend due to injury or bye week issues.

Mason Rudolph - Back to the bench as QB2 With Will Levis (shoulder) announced as the Week 10 starter Sunday against the Chargers, Rudolph will head back to the bench as Tennessee's QB2, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official s...
Impact Rudolph started the Titans' past three games, going 1-2 as a starter, while completing 67 of 111 passes (60.4 percent) for 721 yards (6.5 yards per attempt), four touchdowns and four interceptions. He added a 13-61-1 rushing line.

Titans and Chargers bring two of the NFL's top defenses into their meeting on Sunday

Admirers of defensive football should be in for a treat when the Los Angeles Chargers host the Tennessee Titans on Sunday

Nick Vannett - Pops up on injury report Vannett (neck) was listed as a limited practice participant Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Impact Vannett played 34 snaps on offense during the Titans' Week 9 overtime win over the Patriots and finished with two catches for 33 yards and one touchdown. While he was able to practice in full Wednesday, he was limited in Thursday's session due to a neck issue, which puts his status in question for Sunday's game against the Chargers. If Vannett is unable to play, Josh Whyle would figure to step into the No. 2 tight end behind starter Chigoziem Okonkwo.
NOVEMBER 7 • ROTOWIRE
Julius Chestnut - Working through foot injury Chestnut (foot) was listed as a limited practice participant Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Impact Chestnut was able to log a full practice Wednesday, but he was limited in Thursday's session due to a foot issue. His practice participation Friday will give a clearer indication on his status heading into Sunday's game against the Chargers. Chesnut has served as the Titans' No. 2 running back behind Tony Pollard (foot) for the last three games while Tyjae Spears was sidelined due to a hamstring injury. Over that span, Chestnut has logged 15 carries for 69 yards while adding one catch for nine yards.
NOVEMBER 7 • ROTOWIRE
Tony Pollard - Doesn't practice Thursday Pollard (foot) didn't practice Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Impact Pollard was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, so his downgrade in participation a day later is notable. That said, the running back didn't practice ahead of Week 9 action and was able to log an 86 percent snap share in this past Sunday's win over the Patriots, carrying 28 times for 128 yards and adding three catches for 26 yards in the contest. With no reported setbacks, it's plausible that Pollard's 'DNP' on Thursday could be maintenance-related.
NOVEMBER 7 • ROTOWIRE
Tyler Boyd - Remains limited Thursday Boyd (shoulder) remained limited in Thursday's practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Impact Boyd was cleared to play against New England last week due to the injury, but he played a season-low 29 percent of the offensive snaps and didn't see a single target in the pass game. He has just 21 catches for 184 scoreless yards on 30 targets through eight games this season and isn't a recommended fantasy play.
NOVEMBER 7 • ROTOWIRE
Tyjae Spears - Looks ready for Week 10 Spears (hamstring) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Impact Spears has been sidelined for each of the Titans' last three games with a hamstring injury, but his ability to take every rep Thursday suddenly makes him the healthiest running back of the top three options on the team's depth chart. Starter Tony Pollard (foot) downgraded from limited participation Wednesday to no activity Thursday, while third-string back Julius Chestnut (foot) was added to the injury report Thursday as a limited participant. The status of Pollard heading into Sunday's game against the Chargers is of greater import to Spears, who could find himself in a three-down role this weekend if Pollard is forced to miss his first game of the season. When he was available for the Titans' first six games, Spears had filled a complementary role behind Pollard and averaged 5.5 carries and 2.0 targets per contest during that stretch.
NOVEMBER 7 • ROTOWIRE
Will Levis - Turns in full practice Levis (shoulder) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Impact Levis had previously been listed as a non-participant or limited participant in each of the Titans' last eight practices, but his ability to log full reps Thursday likely signals that the young quarterback has moved past the sprained AC joint in his throwing shoulder that has been plaguing him since Week 4. Titans offensive coordinator Nick Holz seemed to confirm as much before Thursday's session got underway, telling Turron Davenport of ESPN.com that Levis had looked good throwing the football during his recent workouts Sunday and Wednesday. Titans head coach Brian Callahan has previously said that Levis will reclaim starting duties once healthy, so assuming the 25-year-old makes it out of Friday's practice no worse for the wear, he should be cleared to direct the Tennessee offense Sunday versus the Chargers.

Chargers vs. Titans Injury Report – Week 10, 2024
Tre Avery - Full go for Wednesday Avery (hamstring) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
Impact The Rutgers product missed the Titans' Week 9 win over the Patriots due to a hamstring injury; however, Wednesday's full practice suggests he's already past the issue. Avery is expected to serve as one of Tennessee's top rotational cornerbacks in Week 10's matchup against the Chargers now that he's returned to full health.
NOVEMBER 6 • ROTOWIRE
Mike Edwards - Picked up by Tennessee The Titans signed Edwards on Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Impact Edwards has already found a new home in Tennessee after parting ways with the Bills on Tuesday. The 28-year-old safety appeared in just three games while playing seven defensive snaps before his release. With the Titans' top free safety, Quandre Diggs (foot), sustaining a season-ending Lisfranc injury Sunday, Edwards could compete for a starting role with Mike Brown.
NOVEMBER 6 • ROTOWIRE
Tyler Boyd - Begins week with limited practice Boyd (shoulder) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Impact Boyd's shoulder injury may have played a role in his limited involvement against the Patriots in Week 9, as he played a season-low 21 snaps on offense and wasn't targeted. He isn't expected to be a key contributor against the Chargers come Sunday, having chipped in only 184 receiving yards without a touchdown through eight games.
NOVEMBER 6 • ROTOWIRE
Tyjae Spears - Limited in practice Wednesday Spears (hamstring) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Impact Spears is hoping to return Sunday against the Chargers after sitting out the previous three games. He has a chance to avoid a Week 10 injury designation by upgrading to full participation Thursday or Friday. Even if he suits up, Spears will likely be limited to a change-of-pace role behind Tony Pollard.
NOVEMBER 6 • ROTOWIRE
Tony Pollard - Limited to begin Week 10 prep Pollard (foot) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Impact Pollard's limited status matched that of backup Tyjae Spears (hamstring), who is hoping to return from a three-game absence. Pollard hasn't missed a game this season, and his availability for Sunday's game against the Chargers doesn't appear to be in any danger after Pollard racked up 54 touches en route to 271 scrimmage yards over Tennessee's past two games. Still, a full practice from Pollard on Thursday or Friday would help set fantasy managers' minds at ease.
NOVEMBER 6 • ROTOWIRE
Lloyd Cushenberry III - Moves to IR Cushenberry (Achilles) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Impact Head coach Brian Callahan told reporters Monday that Cushenberry would be placed on IR after sustaining an Achilles injury in the Titans' Week 9 win over the Patriots, so this move comes as no surprise. Expect Daniel Brunskill to serve as Tennessee's top center while Cushenberry is sidelined for at least the Titans' next four games.
NOVEMBER 6 • ROTOWIRE
Quandre Diggs - Officially shifts to IR Diggs (foot) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Impact This move comes as no surprise, as the Diggs sustained a season-ending Lisfranc injury in the Titans' Week 9 win over the Patriots. The first-year Titan recorded 42 total tackles across eight games before his injury. Expect Mike Brown to serve as the Titans' top free safety in Week 10, when the team faces the Chargers.
NOVEMBER 6 • ROTOWIRE
Will Levis - Limited to start the week Levis (shoulder) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Impact Levis was a limited participant all last week and ended up missing a third straight game when the Titans won in overtime against the Patriots. Coach Brian Callahan said Wednesday that the plan was for Levis to get more reps this week and possible return for Sunday's game against the Chargers, although Mason Rudolph will continue to get at least a portion of the first-team work in practice. "His reps should uptick," Callahan said of Levis. "We're trying to get him back rolling, and hopeful that's sooner rather than later here. Mason (Rudolph) still needs to be ready to play, and he'll still take some reps, but we'd like to increase Will's workload this week certainly."

Chidobe Awuzie - Close to returning to practice There's optimism Awuzie (groin) could return to practice within 2-3 weeks, John Glennon of NashvillePost.com reports.
Impact Awuzie has been on IR for Tennessee's last five games due to a groin issue he picked up in Week 3 versus the Packers, but there's reason to believe it won't be long before he's back on the field. In the meantime, Darrell Baker figures to continue to see increased work.
