GAME LOG

Tallies 128 totals yards Week 11 Henderson had six carries for 85 yards and one touchdown and caught all three targets for 43 yards during Saturday's 45-0 win over Purdue.
Impact Henderson tore it up both on the ground and as a pass-catcher for the first time this season. The senior running back capitalized his performance with three carries for 51 yards, including a 19-yard touchdown, on a single drive in the third quarter. He still worked behind the team's 1A running back Quinshon Judkins, who logged 11 carries for 32 yards. Henderson likely would have gotten more carries if Ohio State wasn't essentially scoring at will, as he logged 11, 10, 10 and 10 carries in the previous three games. It's likely he won't need to do much during next week's road game at Northwestern either, but his explosiveness should give him a good chance to get back in the end zone either through the air or on the ground.

Logs 10 carries again Week 10 Henderson recorded 10 rushes for 54 yards and caught his only target for 20 yards during Saturday's 20-13 victory versus Penn State.
Impact Henderson logged exactly 10 rushing attempts for the third game in a row. The senior running back still operated behind junior Quinshon Judkins, who tallied 14 carries for 95 yards. However, both benefited from a surprisingly good performance for the Buckeyes' offensive line, which struggled mightily during the previous two games against Oregon and Nebraska. Henderson has now averaged 9.6 rushing attempts for 59.2 yards per game across five Big Ten contests this season. He'll hope to find the end zone this coming Saturday against Purdue.
NOVEMBER 3 • ROTOWIRE
Tallies 25 yards in loss Henderson posted 10 carries for 25 yards during Saturday's 21-17 victory against Nebraska.
Impact Henderson fell short of 60 rushing yards for the first time this season, as the Buckeyes failed to find any consistency on the ground against Nebraska's defensive front. He put up a rather similar rushing stat line to his counterpart in the backfield, Quinshon Judkins, who logged 10 carries for 29 yards. However, the latter got the benefit of a nine-yard receiving touchdown late in the game. Meanwhile, Henderson has not logged a touchdown of any sort since Week 4 versus Marshall. Across four Big Ten games, the senior running back has averaged 9.5 carries for 60.5 yards to go along with 1.5 receptions per game. With such a small workload game-to-game, it's unlikely that Henderson will fare much better against yet another stout rushing defense during next week's road game at Penn State.
OCTOBER 28 • ROTOWIRE
Tallies 87 rushing yards in loss Henderson accrued 10 carries for 87 yards and caught all two targets for four yards during Saturday's 32-31 loss against Oregon.
Impact Henderson finished with a season-high in rushing yards thanks to his season-long 53-yard carry versus the Ducks. The senior has operated as the Buckeyes' secondary rusher behind junior and Ole Miss transfer Quinshon Judkins, who also notched a one-yard score after fumbling in the first quarter Saturday. Henderson has now averaged just 8.7 yards per carry per game, and, unlike in years past, he's been a total non-factor as a receiver out of the backfield. He'll hope to log just his fifth rushing touchdown of the season during this coming Saturday's contest versus Nebraska.
OCTOBER 14 • ROTOWIRE
Totals 63 yards in win Henderson posted 11 carries for 61 yards and hauled in two targets for two yards during Saturday's 35-7 win against Iowa.
Impact The Buckeyes had a strong game on the ground with 203 team rushing yards. But, Henderson was finished with less than 80 rushing yards for the fifth time in five games this season. The senior has still accrued over 60 rushing yards in every game this season despite averaging just 8.4 carries per game. Ohio State finished off its five scoring drives with four passing touchdowns and one rushing touchdown by quarterback Will Howard. While this was a particularly productive game for Howard, it's still indicative of how many scoring threats that the team possesses other than Henderson -- unlike in years past. Fellow running back Quinshon Judkins also tallied 13 carries for 78 rushing yards. With so many talented skill players vying for attention, it'll be tough for Henderson to separate moving forward. The Buckeyes will likely neeed all of their offensive playmakers to perform well if they want to pull off a win on the road against No. 3 Oregon in Week 7.
OCTOBER 6 • ROTOWIRE
Logs 69 yards in big win Henderson logged seven rushes for 69 yards and hauled in 2 of 3 targets for negative one yard during Saturday's 38-7 win versus Michigan State.
Impact Henderson totaled between 65 to 76 rushing yards for the fourth game in a row to start the season. The senior running back has been relatively productive despite seeing fewer carries than Ole Miss transfer Quinshon Judkins so far this season. While the latter led the team with 11 carries against Michigan State, true freshman James Peoples also saw increased usage with 10 carries for 29 yards. There haven't been a ton of carries to go around for Ohio State so far this season, so Henderson will need to consistently find the end zone in order to be truly valuable in fantasy moving forward. He did so with four rushing touchdowns over the previous two contests, though the Buckeyes might face one of their toughest defensive opponents of the season during next week's home game against Iowa.

Two scores versus Thundering Herd Henderson notched six rushes for 76 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 49-14 victory over Marshall.
Impact Henderson saw a modest workload for the third straight game to start this season. The senior running back made due of these limited opportunities, as he scored a 14-yard touchdown in the second quarter before taking a pitch 40 yards for a touchdown to open the second half. Yet, he clearly was overshadowed by the Buckeyes' big splash addition from the transfer portal, Quinshon Judkins, who logged 14 carries for 173 yards and two scores to go along with two receptions. Henderson and Judkins are probably the best 1-2 punch in all of college football, but so far the team seems to favor the latter as its top option out of the backfield. It will be worth monitoring if that workload changes at all during conference play. Ohio State opens the Big Ten schedule this coming Saturday against Michigan State.

Cruises to two scores Week 2 Henderson logged 10 carries for 66 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 56-0 victory against Western Michigan.
Impact Henderson logged 10 touches for the second week in a row, but he logged his first two touchdowns of the seaosn against Western Michigan. The senior broke into the end zone on a three-yard carry for the Buckeyes' first score of the game. He later scored a 16-yard touchdown on a sprint to the outside in the third quarter. Henderson still split carries with Ole Miss transfer Quinshon Judkins, who logged nine carries for 108 yards and two touchdowns of his own. The Buckeye's two-headed monster with these two at running back should continue to return explosive results. But, with limited carries and only so many scoring chances to go around, whichever player becomes the team's go-to down in the red zone could separate which one is the more valuable fantasy prospect.

10 touches in Week 1 blowout Henderson totaled eight carries for 65 yards and reeled in both of his targets for 18 yards during Saturday's 52-6 win versus Akron.
Impact Henderson once again showed his explosiveness with one of Ohio State's longest plays from scrimmage on a 21-yard rush Saturday. As expected, the senior split carries with junior Quinshon Judkins, who logged 13 carries for 55 yards in his Ohio State debut. The Mississippi transfer also got the team's first rushing touchdown with a two-yard score to put the Buckeyes up 24-3 early in the third quarter. However, Henderson was slightly more involved in the passing game, and he only trailed star true freshman wideout Jeremiah Smith in yards from scrimmage (92). Henderson should continue to split carries with Judkins in what will be perhaps the best 1-2 punch at running back in college football this season.

Slated to share backfield Henderson is slated to split carries with transfer running back Quinshon Judkins in the upcoming 2024 campaign, Bill Landis of Rivals.com reports.
Impact Henderson will enter his senior season, but now in a shared backfield after logging 926 yards and 11 touchdowns on 156 carries along with 19 catches for 229 yards across 10 games. The 5-foot-10 running back will see a different offensive scheme under Chip Kelly, likely to favor the run game and both Henderson and Judkins in both the run and pass game throughout the year. Henderson enters a different role than this past season but getting more breaks to keep him fresh as the season progresses could optimize efficiency against tough regular season opponents.
